Agreed. We use the summary report to track KPIs for each fundraiser's quarterly activity. The action detail report does not provide a total number of actions for each action type, which is necessary for tracking these performance indicators.

We use the summary report to keep track of moves management, especially for our campaign. Tabulating action categories based on action types allows us to tally proposals, solicitations, meetings, etc. without having to look at all action details. Things will become much more cumbersome without the ability summarize.
