Apply query to constituent search in webview

Currently in database view, when we search for a constituent we can "search using query" - this is really useful for us particularly when it comes to people with fancy titles like Lord or Commander where we might only know that person's surname as they are addressed by title and surname like "Lord Smith". We have a query that we can apply that ignores all the Mr, Mrs, Ms, Miss and Dr titles so that we are only left with the "fancy" titles to be able to pick out the correct constituent.

We also have queries that narrow the search field down to just individuals or just organisations and they are also super useful.

Yes, this functionality is needed! It's also very handy searching for gifts using a query, especially the output and sort functionality. Would welcome both features in web view.

Wouldn't it be embarrassing to do all the work of creating web view and have a less functional product?

Amazed this does not have more votes. Searching on WebView is incredibly difficult due to the lack of adding a query and outputs.

Applying a query to a constituent search is a key missing piece of this idea: Add Advanced Search Functionality in Webview

I have used this capability to search for a constituent in specific grouping of constituents when working on only that group. In DBV, this feature also allows users to specify what fields will be shown in the search results, which is very helpful.
