Currently when you type the name of a Campaign, Fund or Appeal on its page under Gifts the "Find in this list" box refreshes after every character is typed - with a 2 second pause before the next character can be typed. This is not just a display issue, you can't even type the whole word, you need to wait for the search using the latest letter you typed before continuing to enter the search term.

When you have been using RE for 18 years like we have there are a lot of appeal that start the same and you need to get to the end of the name and enter the year or month to display the latest ones.

It is faster the type the whole word in another program and then copy and paste it into the search box.

Making the serch more fuzzy would help too - like allowing wildcard characters.
