Add Preferred Email and Preferred Phone Number to the Output Field in Query
When creating a query with emails and phone numbers, constituents are listed repetitively because we cannot select the preferred email and phone number in the Output field. It is time consuming to clean the list of the excess and outdated information. Please consider adding this feature. It will be a huge time saver.

I see... So while those ARE outputs, you can't currently filter by them within the output. That level of filtering is planned with single-row query in web view (our replacement for Export).
I see they marked this as already exists but part of the problem is what if the account doesn't have a phone number or email marked as primary. Also when I run the reports I select sort by preferred and guess what it doesn't.
That's nice if there is a primary phone indication on every record. Not our case. Only some records have primary indication so will need different criteria to pull in specific phone type. :)
Hi all, this exists today! You can specify in criteria:
Phone type equals/one of __________
AND Phone is primary? equals Yes
Then output Phone type, Phone is primary, and phone number.
Although the constituents HAVE more than just those phones, Query is smart enough to know you're looking only for the preferred/primary phone numbers/emails.
great idea and will allow our team to make phone calls to donors much more efficiently!
