Add in option of Not Posted when adding Gifts in NXT

It's frustrating that this option isn't the default on NXT as it is on Raiser's Edge. It's not even an option to select. We don't want to Post the Gift right away... essentially any mistakes or items we want to add in retrospect within the month towards a gift cannot be made without a full gift adjustment. Our process is that once we have reconciled at the end of the month, we then Post all Gifts to the ledger within the system. Another frustrating change made in the changeover to NXT.

    My org has FE NXT but we have an internal firewall between RE and FE and do not post gifts from RE to FE. I want a Not posted status for gift entry in web view to maintain current gift entry practices. We use the post date for our reconciliation process so the Do Not Post gift entry option doesn't work for our practices. I want a "Not Posted" option in RE NXT webview gift entry batches for this purpose. I don't want to have anyone accidentally post gifts to the GL.

    This might be a matter of labeling. The terminology is different than in webview from what it is in database view. "Post to ledger" in webview is the same as "Not Posted" in database view. If you choose "Post to ledger" in webview and save it, it is still "Not Posted" until the post to GL process is run.
