Allow Customization/Templates of NXT Batches

In DB view, you can load a list of donations into a gift batch template, and set defaults within this template. I would like the ability to do this in NXT. This would be ideal.

If nothing else, I would like to be able to customize and default what is currently available for display. For example:

  • I may want to set a default gift subtype to "online"

  • I may want the CC information to show after the comment section, since I would never change it. Or even hide that information as it clutters my view of things.

  • I may want to add custom fields (in the custom fields section) at the top of the custom fields section rather than at the bottom

    Yes please let us apply a template to an automatic gift batch to review and approve. Like Paula said, it has slowed me down tremendously! Also, if I tab to the end and end up getting an extra line in the batch, I can't delete it and it won't let me save.

    We are working on the ability to "Apply template" to existing batches. If you open an automated batch or online giving batch (or any batch) you would be able to then select the template to use to view it without having to go and set it up every time. This will be out this quarter. It was a highly requested item during our EAP and we are working to deliver it ASAP.

    Be able to apply a template to an automatic gift batch to review and approve. The default display doesn't show the information I need -- I have to configure every online gift batch before I can approve it. This has slowed down our online gift processing significantly.
