Tributes in NXT should NOT require a new constituent record for honoree/acknowledgee

When processing a tribute gift in NXT, the honoree and acknowledgee each need new constituent records. If the donor does not provide any address or contact information, the new constituent records are "inactive" due to a lack of address. The honoree may be deceased, or the honoree and/or acknowledgee may be "Our Park" (meaning the local playground). There should be some other way to link the honoree/acknowledgee to the donor record that does NOT include creating a new constituent record, especially if there is no address/email information.

It would be helpful if this was able to be added as a non-constituent relationship record; we want to track ALL Tributes, but having to create records for those without contact information is cumersome and not good data hygiene.

Cleanup for the extra records should not be necessary

Yes!! We are an animal center and when I first started a few years ago I had to work through and purge over 8,000 records of deceased animals/people with no contact information. It would be so much easier to make the acknowledgee the constituent and the deceased person the relationship. It just makes WAY more sense.

And you should be able to create this tribute to a dead person straight from the donor's record

Yes, please let me process a gift without forcing me to create a record for a dead person who will never be a donor.

Please, please, please add this as creating new constituent records for deceased people or people for whom we have no info just clutters up the database. It would be nice if the option were given to add the honoree/acknowledgee as a relationship on the donor's record rather than creating a whole new constituent record.
