In Dbv when clicking on a category of reports, a description/definition of the report type appears at the bottom of the screen. This is very helpful when looking for a report one does not use often or hasn't ever used and trying to understand which report would be appropriate for a particular situation. This description saves one from going through the steps of setting up a report and running it only to find out that it doesn't deliver what one needs because you misunderstood the purpose of the report from its name. Can we have something similar in web view, please? Whether it is recreating the description at the bottom of the screen or having a button to a pop up description does not particularly matter. Right now, for reports I don't often use or haven't used before, I go through them in dbv just to refresh/learn about the report and then set it up in WV (if it is already available there). This functionality is especially needed when we can't even view a layout of a report in WV without running and downloading the report.
Agreed! Another great example of how users are not able to transition to using webview functionality upon launch very easily because an important feature is not available.
It is much easier to see a description that highlights important details and NOT have to click through the various filters and settings of a report in order to mentally process the specifications of the report. This makes use of reports harder, and there is a lot of potential to run the wrong report in any given situation.
