Automated tribute notifications

Lots of other companies offer this! The donor enters the acknowledgee's email address and the notification is automatically sent to the acknowledgee, so they immediately see that someone made a tribute gift in their honor or in their loved one's memory.

    This is a really important feature that could be a game changer to eliminate complicated and manual tribute acknowledgee emails and letters.

    Also, make it formatted to branded colors, content, messaging etc. Boiler plate will not suffice!

    I see that it is "undecided" to incorporate e-cards/notification for both Standard and Optimized donation forms https://host.nxt.blackbaud.com/bb-comparison-docs/. It should be an option if we are asked to move from NetCommunity to NXT. We currently use a third party for tribute giving so our donors can send e-cards. It if was incorporated, we'd switch to NXT for these right away.

    As stated by the original creator of this idea, lots of other vendors offer this. Sometimes a donor makes a gift at the last minute for a special occasion at night or on the weekend and wants the acknowledgee to be informed right away. There should be an option for an automated email!
