For reconciliation purposes across gifts of all payment methods, we add the date the gift hits the bank account as a custom field. This includes thousands of BBMS transactions annually. It would save a tremendous amount of time if the disbursement date was automatically added to the gift record. We could then use the same custom field to add the settlement date for cash and cheque donations. This would be far more helpful to us then adding more gift fields to the BBMS disbursement report.
