Adding selection from multiple appeals to the current standard form
The online giving standard form allows a dropdown list of funds, however; the appeal section can only have one appeal, making this all funds going into same appeal.
Hi Samantha - I'm not the person who created this, but even though yes, that's technically how appeal is defined - that's not how many organizations use it. It's often hard to narrow down exactly which communication prompted a gift, and many orgs use a broader scope. Sometimes they're forced into a C/F/A structure by their finance team, or by a software that they have to sync with, or something more arbitrary ... as long as it works for them, organizationally, it's often not a problem.
Can you tell me more about how you are using appeals with your funds? Are you setting up one appeal per fund?
The appeal is usually tied to the specific communication that prompted the gift, no matter what fund the donor selects. If you are setting up your appeals for each fund, you may need to consider a multi-form setup where the fund is selected before the form, and then have a form setup for each appeal.
