I have just run my first gift aid claim through webview and it is very disappointing that it does not provide a downloadable pdf of the claim. This was used both for any anomalies before submission and provide to the auditors for ratifying amounts received from HMRC. The only way of getting this information is via query and on three of our submissions they do not match up to what has been claimed nor received.
Posting again here as after raising a support ticket with Blackbaud I was assured the issue was resolved citing that they (Blackbaud engineers) identified the problem was on our end with the way database view / NXT was viewing postcodes but they have updated it so it will not happen moving forward.
I have just started processing another claim for Q3 and the same issue remains with a difference showing of 200 gifts between the Gift Aid Management within NXT and the associated Query based on the Tax Claim Reference used to assign to the gifts for this claim.
Something is obviously off between the two. I cannot understand as to why you cannot run a report directly from the Gift Aid Management system.
Exactly the same issue and this is the second claim I'm working on where the claim amount does not match the report. There should be a function where we can run a report directly off the claim in NXT.
This really should have been implemented before turning off database view, as it is essential for auditing in the UK.
