Use state abbreviations when exporting address from query in web view

There is a knowledgebase article describing how to change user options in database view to display code table entries by the short or the long description: https://kb.blackbaud.com/knowledgebase/articles/Article/74975

I have just changed this option for myself in database view to view them by the short description, so that when I export addresses with queries, the state will come out as "OR" and not "Oregon" which saves a lot of time for our development team as they work on mailings.

However, this setting appears to only affect queries run in database view. I just ran one in web view and the state there came out as "Oregon."

If this option currently exists in web view, I haven't found it. Please make this setting an option in web view, too.

There are short descriptions for Campaigns, Funds, and Appeals as well. Could the ability to utilize short descriptions that we have in Database View be brought to Web View. To view data, we often have to scroll far to the right. Abbreviations and short descriptions lessen the need to scroll as far and see more data on one screen. Thank you.

The 2-letter abbreviation should be the default, not the full state name.

Never mind - I just found this is available already in web view. Screen shot attached for anyone else looking for this!
