Gifts to Other Organizations

Cannot add any new information to NXT in the Financial Information Summary section under Prospect Management. In database view, we can add new gifts to other organizations under the Prospect tab, but have view-only access in NXT. It is basically data entry so not a complicated task, but gives useful insight as to a prospect's giving history.

Sunshine - can you please file a bug with Blackbaud Support so we can look into this further? I'm not able to duplicate this error.

Admins: I meant to add that I tested this in two different client databases (see message below).

Admins: I tested this and received an "Error saving contribution" message with all of the fields completed, whether I am searching for an organization or entering one manually.

Please make the “Gifts to Other Organizations” field editable in RE NXT Webview. Right now, it’s view-only, which makes it hard to track and update. Being able to edit it would help teams work faster and improve and overall workflow efficiency, especially as teams move fully into Webview.

in the Prospect Management tile, "Gifts to other Organizations" ("Contributions" in Web View) cannot be edited in Web View at all, and some data does not display in Web View (i.e. Comments for these entries). With the pending shift to a Unified View, this needs to be updated to be consistent with database view. Prospect managers and researchers use this to document external gifts in the public domain which can inform solicitation strategy.

YES PLEASE! Would also be great if we could have a gift range instead of a gift amount and a date range for cumulative gifts.

    Great suggestion!
