I made a test pledge using the Online Giving form using my own credit card so I could see what it looks like on the Donor Portal side (i.e. if the card/bank can be changed for payments). I forgot to mark the pledge as Do Not Post, so I had to write it off. But even after the full pledge amount was written off my card was still charged on the first installment date. I had to commit the gift batch and refund my card. I couldn't delete the original gift in NXT or database. Blackbaud Support had no immediate solution for this and suggested adding it here. Their suggested workaround was to set the installment date far out into the future to avoid my card being charged until they have a solution. I could see this being an issue if we end up having donors who set up their pledge this way and later on will need to write off their gift.
