Sometimes we need to collect information that is directly related to the overall transaction or the payor and should not be tied to the participant record. To support this, it would be helpful to have a Gift Custom Field that links specifically to the payment record. Additionally, having a Constituent Custom Field that connects to the host's constituent record would be beneficial for capturing relevant data without intermixing it with participant details. This would work similar to the Online Giving form Gift and Constituent Custom Fields.
