Allow Export Batch Grid to .csv in NXT

Export Batch Grid (before batch commit/approval) in database view saves my team significant time. Exporting to a .csv means the batch can be filtered/sorted/etc for review. It allows us to quickly identify discrepancies in entry standards (example, gift date or campaign/fund) and save our eyes a lot of strain. I would like to see a similar export option in NXT during batch entry, before batch commit/approval, so my team continues to streamline gift approval and processing.

Sorry, one more thought! We'd ideally want this to work not just for individual batches, but also when querying multiple batches over a date range. For example, we run weekly reports that capture all batches meeting certain criteria. It would be really helpful if the results could be displayed in the same order as the original batches (or at least in batch/date order) so that they remain easy to reconcile and cross-check. Hopefully that makes sense!

My team would definitely benefit from this feature as well.

When we create a batch of cheque payments, it's essential that any query or report generated from that batch can be displayed in the same order as the batch itself. At the moment, this isn't happening, which creates significant challenges when it comes to reconciling payments with our Finance team.

Because the reports don't follow the batch order, we're having to spend a considerable amount of time manually matching items, which increases the risk of errors and makes what should be a straightforward checking process much more difficult. Having the ability to retain or sort by the original batch order would be a huge improvement for our team's efficiency and accuracy.

    Thank you :)

We also need this to identify discrepancies, align with our finance department, and prepare for audits. Please bring this functionality over to NXT!

Yes! We also need to this. I use an batch grid export in a power query, merged with another file to create a backup file that meets our audit needs.

It also helps to balance to large spreadsheets if the money is off, when you can sort and subtotal by date.
