Batches in NXT that are created from event forms default to the “one-time donation” gift type. But since these registration fees aren’t actually donations, many non-profits use a different gift type to help differentiate. Since we have to assign an appeal, fund, and package for each event, why can’t we also assign the gift type to be associated with the registration fees (or better yet, create an entire default set for the event like database view). For reconciliation purposes, we have to create the gift - it would be so much quicker to do this through batch thank manually creating each corresponding gift.
