Since we're asking for parity for starters, here is an enhancement that would make it BETTER in webview:
Include a total of the number of instances where this value is used. I want to see a specific table entry and easily identify if it is on 1 record or 5,000 records. This is often what users are doing - exporting all of the values in a table and then running queries to assess this information. Or exporting data into Excel to do pivots filters.
Table entries with no use should be included on the report with 0 in the summary, not omitted from the report. Constituent codes should include the use on a constituent record AND a gift record. So many organizations have NO idea that there is a gift constituency.
exporting these lists is super useful in driving conversations about data utility and definitions. i would add that having the # of uses visible on screen and /or in the export would also be super helpful.
In database view, we are able to do this as a standard report that you can only access from the Tables area. It's the only table-related thing we can currently do in database view. This is a missing piece of functionality in database view.
Sometimes we really do need to just be able to just export a list of table values to excel. I love the clean-up tools in webview, but sometimes you need do do some old fashioned work with a list to determine what needs to stay and what needs to go.
I don't care if it's a new button in Tables that just say "Export Table Values" or if it's a standard report that we have to go to the Standard Reports area to access. We need a way to easily export a list of table values.
I did this just last week so my colleague could audit the Industries table and suggest additions that we need to make to use it for a new tracking initiative. While this functionality might not be a super frequent need, when it's needed, it's incredibly important.
Please ensure that this functionality makes it to web view!
This would be SO helpful when doing database audits. I've never worked with an organization that didn't need help with their constituent codes and being able to export the code table is an easy way to get started on that work.
Being able to export table values would support the following:
- Data analysis via sorting, filtering, creating pivot tables, building charts, and perform calculations on the exported data.
- Intentional sharing with certain parties: if a team member who does not have access to NXT wants to review, this could ease collaboration. I
- Additionally, as import gets built into web view, it supports bulk editing outside of what code cleanup is capable of.
On a personal note, which may apply to others, we need to easily export items that inform Excel sheets with macros and other data enabled for large mailing appeals. As of now, there is no way to do that.
The date the table value was created would also be very helpful.

This would help so much!
