I’ve been tasked with finding out exactly when each set of functionality in Database View is scheduled to be switched off, so that my organisation can prioritise ensuing that the Web View version works for us, and any potential issues reported and fixed in good time. I’ve spent the last week or so ploughing through webinars, raising a case with Support, and clicking through links, only to find that information on this important point is extremely difficult to come by, if it exists at all.
I’m easily finding information on when functions are being added to Web View, but virtually nothing on when the corresponding Database View options are to be removed entirely. The dissemination of the information is uneven as well; the information I’ve found so far for 3 areas of Database View were found in separate resources.
I would like to ask if it is possible for Blackbaud to have some kind of centralised area, such as a webpage, where this is recorded and updated; I can’t be the only user who hasn’t always got time to check every single resource, webinar, training video and links in emails just in case the relevant information happens to be in there.
