The membership module is important for tracking active members, their donations, their renewal dates, and reporting on it all. It is extremely important to my organization and regularly used. Without it the transition to RENXT will not offer the same robust resources that currently exist in database view. A product that offers less is not an improved product. It is a less useful one.
I cannot believe that you are not able to adjust the renewal date of a membership in NXT. What is the point of using membership if I can't adjust this? Makes no sense.
Our NPO relies heavily on Membership module and particularly Membership Attributes. We are a wildlife rescue nonprofit and offer symbolic animal sponsorships as a means of membership support. The animal a donor chooses to support is entered as a Membership Attribute. We have been recording this data since we purchased RE in 1990. This attribute is used in many ways: answering donor questions about sponsored animal history, including attribute on renewal mailings, queried for obituary letters when sponsored animal dies, queried monthly for letters sharing updates on sponsored animal. Without this Attribute, we would lose 36 years of data we access daily! This is vital information to our donors and would be catastrophic for our org if this is lost with the transition to webview.
The membership module is hugely important to our organization. Without this (with the same or improved functionality) in web view, we would be forced to move to another product. We need to be able to renew/link memberships within gift batches.
We need it to be integrated into the NXT email as well!!
use this every month for benchmark report to our BOD it is vital
We use the Membership module to track Lifetime Giving Societies. Right now, we are not able to add memberships to a Constituent Record in NXT. Is this functionality planned to be added to NXT?
Agree. There is no way to send membership renewal notices as communications don't include membership fields. There isn't any way to manage them or use the data formal; membership statuses aren't even available in constituent lists.
