All the use of an 'Ask' query in Gift Posting

When posting gifts, we have a query we attach to the criteria. The query criteria is Gift Batch Number <ask>. In database view when we run the posting, the query ask will pop-up and we enter the batch number we want to post. We did not get that option when we attached the query in RE NXT's Post Gift. It pulled all the gifts by the gift date, including pledges and gifts we didn't want posted in the RE batch. There should be an option to use an "Ask" query for the Post Gifts in RE NXT like there is in database view because it's not very efficient to return to the query and modify it inbetween every posting. And if "Ask" queries are not an option for Post Gifts I think we should have more filter options than just funds.

    We also would like the ability to Edit the query from within the posting - very inefficient to return to the query each time outside of the posting screen to edit the query. We post several batches with the same type and date at the same time every day to create efficiencies during month end.

    Absolutely agree. We post by batch and use an ask query to post by batch number. We cannot Post Gifts in web view due to this missing functionality.
