Constituent Window needed in Webview Gift Batch Entry
In DatabaseView, I depend on the Constituent window in Batch to ensure I am putting gifts on the Head of Household for consistency and reporting purposes. This would be great to have in Webview.
We need to be able to pin the window, as others have mentioned, or have a way to easily see the full list of suggested donors. How many John Smiths does every database have? seeing the preview window flywheel in Database view and being able to customize what parts of the donor record are IN that preview are essential to gift entry
I too do not consider this "shipped". A pinnable window with detailed info is needed- Karen's example is a great one; it is so hard to differentiate between dozens of location of banks, or common names (how many Robert Smiths do you have?). Fun story- in my early days in DB view, I actually issued a receipt to the wrong, commonly named donor because I wasn't using that window! (yes, this was a mistake, but as you can see, the current functionality made sure I never made this mistake again! That functionality is necessary, used, and needed!)
I don't feel this idea has been shipped/completed at all. The current configuration of a pop-out to the full constituent is not at all helpful. We need to be able to pin a sidebar that shows up for each gift row, with the constituent fields we select. Basically just how you have it in database view. We only want to look over to the side to confirm that we are not getting a new/updated address or email or spouse name, etc.
This says shipped, but it does not work well. Does everyone else think this is an actual solution? Having to open the constituent record each time is not really helpful
I see that you can open it/pop-out, but it would be so much better if you could pin it so it's always open. Opening the window each time is tedious. And the actual window in DBV is more helpful because you can just see the fields that are important during entry.
I believe this is the same issue . . . in database view, we're able to confirm that we're using the correct record - we have about 470 "First Christian Church" records with different cities . . . can the search feature be more robust so we can include the city/state? We are moving to NXT in the next couple of weeks and am hoping this will be addressed in future updates.
YES, I need this...definitely! I always review constituent record-gift record when entering gifts in the database view and would be lost without it in NXT gift entry.
I use that preview window of constituent record information to the side all the time when doing webview gift batch entry to confirm addresses and other information while doing data input. I'm not part of the early access for webview batch so I don't know if it's in progress, but this would be really helpful to continue as an option in NXT batch entry.
