allow editing Payment Information in gift record

If I want to edit a gift payment type or a check number, currently can't. What if I made a mistake, or if I need to correct a historical record? I can't see a reason why this isn't a field that can have changes made to it.

    I need to be able to change the payment method on gifts in web view.

    We enter Stock/Property gifts as we gift the information from our brokerage and move to sell once we receive the check from that broker. For record keeping purposes I need to be able to edit the payment information in web view to capture the check number and date. Having to delete the gift in NXT to change this information that i can edit freely until the gift is posted in database view is a major oversight.

    We edit the gift payment method frequently and have to use database view because web view does not have the option. This is very much needed for operations!!

    My donor wanted to change from direct debit to credit card and the option is not available and changes are very limited. This is not helpful and needs to be changed.

    This is crucial. For example on split gifts, you need to enter the campaign (for us), and the sytem will let it go through in NXT without a campaign, however, you CAN NOT go back in and edit the gift to add the campaign - I have to delete the gift and readd it back in...If not, it won't show up in reporting! This needs to be done soon!!
