The ability to run custom SQL queries against the back-end databsae would be the single most useful thing Blackbaud could add to RE! At previous organizations, most of what I did as database manager was based on SQL queries (list pulls, data checks, etc.). My current position is the first time I haven't been able to query the back-end database directly, and as a result most tasks take longer. The Query tool can do a lot, of course, but nothing can match the flexibility of being able to design complex queries EXACTLY how we need to!
