Better Event Check-In
We need a better way to do check-in for guests at events. Ideally this would be accomplished with a QR code that is emailed to guests that we can scan which would automatically mark them as attended and indicate their fee and participant options.
Additionally, we need a better guest list functionality. The export of participants is not useful without significant data transformation (for different tiers of fees, for example) and formatting. I just want to export a guest list with all the attendees where I have their name, their registration level (fee), participant options, and the name of their party. Instead we have the main registrant with their fees on a line and then a bunch of "Guest of [name]" with no indication which fee those guests are attached to.
Please consider the logistics of the actual event beyond just the registration process

We would really value this functionality too! We often have a very limited time to check in our event attendees, and it would help us processing arrivals more efficiently. Since a number of other event platforms offer this functionality, teams are using other event platforms, which makes our job more difficult as we have to manually update the attendance from separate systems.
Ability to embed a unique QR code within the event registration confirmation that can be scanned either from a printed copy or directly from a mobile email/device to streamline event check-in. Additionally, there should be either built-in scanning capability or an integrated software partner solution that allows scanned registrations to automatically update participant records as “Attended.”
This is vital! Please consider developing the qr code check-in for events. We are evaluating products like CVENT, Social Tables and others because the check-in experience is lacking in the Events module. This is an expensive option and is making it so our users are not using NXT and jumping out to other systems.
