Many organizations have different email lists for different audiences and purposes. We need an email sign up form that allows for users to choose which email list they want to sign up for. Also, the unsubscribe option needs to allow for users to choose what email lists they want to unsubscribe from instead of removing them from all emails.
Agree. We've been using offline, external online forms, or the consent feature allowed in NXT event registration forms to allow folks to sign up for specific categories/email segments. Because the unsubscribe link in NXT emails doesn't allow category selections for the channel, particularly with the new consent tile ONLY updating at the top level rather than the categories--even though functionally it blocks off all categories. In the attached screenshot, this constituent previously opted-in to a few of our categories, but today used the general unsubscribe option. Now I have to assume she wanted to opt out of everything, not just the category of email that she clicked on, AND I have extra work of reviewing consent history to make sure the opt out was more recent than the category opt-ins, and then go back to the consent tile and edit the consent to mark the categories as opt-out.
