At OneHope, all of our staff, in one way or another, spend 10% of their time each week interacting with our partners. Some people write notes, some do prayer calls, some are assigned certain constituents for regular phone/visit caseload contact. Up to this point, we have been printing (or emailing PDF’s) profiles of each members assignments to them for contact. As we consider moving to NXT, this obviously means we would like each staff person to be able to have WorkCenter access to the people we want them to contact. It would save a huge amount of paper and allow them to enter their own notes directly into the database. However, we DO NOT want them to have access to every donor’s information. We only want them to have access to their own assignments. 

 I understand that in the Work Center I can give them access only to their own portfolio, but they would still be able to access other donors not on their portfolio by using the search function. Using the restrict by constituency code in the database does not work for us. Therefore, in discussion with Justin Muratore at Blackbaud, I'd like to suggest creating the option to restrict the search database function as one of the security options within Web View. This would fulfill our needs, and I believe would be a benefit to others as well.
