Allow duplicate receipts to be sent by a different method than the original in webview

I am enjoying using webview receipting. However, I run into problems when a donor requests a duplicate copy of their receipt. The donor may want it sent:

  • to a different email address than the first one was sent to

  • sent by email, when the first receipt was mailed

  • sent by mail, when the first receipt was emailed


Currently, the only option when issuing a duplicate receipt is to send it the exact same way as the first one was sent, even though usually the reason the donor is requesting a duplicate is because there was some problem with the original sending method. Help! I really don't want to have to cancel and reissue a receipt every time a donor requests it to be sent to a different address.

    We too do not wish to re-email a receipt to an email address that did not work. That makes no sense. Requesting this feature be fixed.
