CEOs and Development Officers look at a gift record quickly and when they see full amount, they attribute that amount to the donor they are about to meet with. In RE, only the soft credit portion was visible. I realize they could click on the record and see the actual donor and which portion is soft credited, but its too late once they have looked quickly.
