It is our understanding that, currently, there is no way, in the import process, to link spousal addresses. Blackbaud confirmed in a recent chat (018599868) that imports cannot mark the address as shared, they can only update existing addresses; once addresses are imported, they must be manually linked. This creates a very arduous process when importing many constituent records (ex., parents of new students) since users now need to manually open each record and link the spouse addresses individually which we do not find a sustainable practice.

It is possible to link the spouses in the import process so we believe it would make sense to also be able to link the spousal addresses within the same import.
