Users will often add a spouse to a record or remove an existing spouse record and forget to update the Marital Status field. This results in individuals who are married still showing a Marital Status of Single or individuals who are now single/divorced showing a Marital Status of Married. A Business Rule to prompt changing the status when a spouse is added or removed would help eliminate this.
