The ability to use Tags on Attachments is good for categorizing; however, we need the capability to pull Constituent Lists or Attachment Lists based on Tags - otherwise, why have Tags? For example: we use Tag = News Story on an Attachment. We'd like to be able to pull a list of alumni who have been in the news during a specific time-period, so it would make sense to pull using where an Attachment Tag = News Story.
We need this functionality to ensure our attachments and media are properly backed up. We were told that NXT would not back up our attachments and yet there is no way to group them!
We've been running into a similar issue where we would love to be able to query on/search/pull attachments into a list based on their tags so that we can find trends of attachments or know which gifts or people have them. To be able to find if we've uploaded gift agreements (a tag we have) or redacted check scans of big gifts (another tag) is just not possible right now, so having some means of being able to locate and sort through these tags would be useful, especially if we're trying to do a cleanup or standardization process around all media files or attachments brought into NXT from DBV and moving forward as we continue to update more. I know this might be something that is being held off until everything from DBV has been put into NXT, but it feels really strange to be able to use a feature with no way to find information from that feature without knowing exactly where an attachment lives.
Yes please! We have been using tags to categorize in NXT as it is the most straight-forward approach to know what media file types we are saving. This is useless without the ability to pull a list and/or query.
