Add ability to add name tags in NXT event module
It would be helpful if the event module in NXT allowed users to add name tags to the participants records much like Raiser's Edge currently does. That way, when the registration list is exported that same export can be used to generate the name tags for the event. Currently, you can add them in Raiser's Edge and have them display in NXT, but you cannot add them in the NXT platform.

Database view allows us to pull our pre-populated nametag text (via addressee/salutation) into nametags inside our events and would find it a huge time saver to have this functionality in NXT as well. We want to be able to pull undergrad and and graduate degrees to include in the nametag text along with maiden names. We'd need to look up graduate degree years and manually incorporate maiden names into the nametag text as well. We also normally use '25 for a class year vs. the 2005 that pulls in the NXT event export. We also would rather skip the middle initial because it takes up extra space in the nametag. It would be beneficial to opt for our preselected nametag text when adding constituents to events in NXT.
This needs to be added before DBV goes away. Even better would be the ability to choose a default addressee type to show up for nametag. We currently have a 'nametag' field in addressees that I would love to have shown in the NXT event list so I can export that.
We have 'Nametag' as an user-defined "Additional Addressee" field, so we can pull it for our constituents attending an event. However, there is no way in NXT to add a 'Nametag' for a non-constituent guest attending an event. I have to go to the event and the guest in DB view to add their Nametag text. PLEASE add this to web view!
This would be a very welcomed addition to Unified View as long as we are able to choose an addressee format per participant.
Also, a great way to modernize this feature for the Unified view would be allowing a mass assign of the name tag addressee format to participants in addition to being able to do this one-off.
Yes, very much needed. One of the main items that needs to be quickly accomplished at the very last minute of an event.
Is there movement on this? We have an event coming up, and we are having to hand-do all of this. The field is there to export, but it's blank, unless one adds in database view.
