Address search for PO Boxes (in the omnibar search)

I love that I can type in a partial address for searching, but it doesn't work for PO Boxes because it relies on the DIGITS-SPACE-TEXT typical address structure. It'd be super great if "PO Box" or "P.O. Box" were added to the logic for searching. Or give us a more robust search tool.

    It's now August 2026, which is seven years since this post was made, and I agree that this is a good suggestion and I'm surprised it's still not implemented, especially given that The Raiser's Edge application itself can search for PO Box addresses with no issues in the "Address lines" field.

    Looks like this is still a thing. Our staff was trying to find a specific person, last name SMITH, and at a particular PO Box. PO Box came up empty. To find this person, she had to click "show more results" (for SMITH, mind you) and find this particular PO Box among dozens and dozens of records. COME ON, BLACKBAUD.

    PO Box inclusion is essential!

    If a gift officer is traveling and uses the radius search, I can't belive that they could be missing out on connecting with potential donors. I know locally some of our largest donors use PO Box addresses for privacy.

    I also know of several areas where all mailing addresses are PO Boxes.
