It's really a headache to filter my 700+ events with a search term, click on one of them, realize it's the wrong event or need to click on a different in the list, use my backbutton to go back to my search-filtered list...and be right back at the beginning of the list with my search filter removed.

On my desktop browser i can right click to open the event in a new tab, but this isn't always convenient or easy, and not everyone is comfortable doing that.
