Lists need to have more options for reporting purposes - it is SOOOOOO limited. We basically have to still use the database view for everything because this information is so basic. What is the point if it isn't useful???
I some of the features in export such as the ability to add a column multiple time with different criteria for example total giving this year and then another column for total giving last year. But also to more specific, total giving to a specific appeal during a specific time period then another column with the giving to a specific appeal with a different specific time period.

For me, this is a lack of fields able to be included in lists such as Primary Addressee and Salutation.
