Gift total YTD

While First, Latest and Greatest gifts are nice, I have many donors who make more than one gift annually and I have to manually calculate the gift total for the year if I want to express my thanks for total giving so far. We have started scheduling multiple campaigns throughout the year and are asking our donors to make partial gifts to these campaigns. It would be so helpful to see how much more to ask for in a final Q4 campaign if there was an annual roll-up, or YTD total. Additionally, it would be easier to see if donors are laddering up/lifting their giving if there were YTD totals for all years. I expected to see this in Work with Gifts...but it's not there. I think this should be added immediately, as I'm sure I'm not the only one working to steward YTD gifts, calculate appropriate Q4 asks, measure YTD giving against prior years, etc..

    This is a continued need, and a reason why users are working in database view. Having this number in WebView on the constituent record and as a column in constituent lists would free up database manager's time to work on other things like learning much-needed developer skills and adding data enrichment metrics.

    I would love to see both YTD for calendar year as well as fiscal year! I also get asked this question all the time.

    We also use YTD to monitor the giving of certain groups. For example, we monitor how each Board Member has given YTD at several points throughout the year.

    We would  benefit from a YTD or custom date gift summary total in constituent lists to track prospects.
