Improved Front-End Visibility and Accessibility for Database Users

One area I would like to see addressed in the RENXT buildout is the amount of information that is readily visible and accessible to users. Currently, the back-end view provides a much more comprehensive picture of the data, allowing users to see much more information at a glance. In contrast, the front-end experience often requires navigating through multiple dropdown menus and drilling into additional screens to locate information that could otherwise be displayed more prominently.

Example - Query folders - You can see so much more of what has already been built when looking in DB View. On the front end, you have to open a folder drop-down rather than seeing them all at a glance.

Constituent Records - every tab within the constituent record on the back side is filled with readily available information. I can see so much more information, organized in a way that shows me more about the record much more quickly than navigating all the tiles on the front end.

For those of us who are the heaviest, day-to-day users of the system, efficiency and ease of access are essential. The front side should be designed to support how users actually work, enabling them to see, access, and use relevant information without unnecessary clicks or navigation.

I would like to see greater flexibility in the front-end interface, including expanded at-a-glance information. Most importantly, the people who work in the database every day—entering, maintaining, managing, and reporting on the data—should have a meaningful voice in how the system is designed and configured. The system should work for its users, not require its heaviest users to request, through the idea bank, that Blackbaud implement functions in the web view.
