In Analysis > Fundraising Dashboards, new monthly donors are immediately showing up as retained instead of acquired.

New recurring donors are never counted as acquired. This may be happening if the Recurring Gift and the Recurring Gift Payment are counted as the first and second gifts. Since those usually have the same date, new recurring donors are retained the day they first donated.

You can check this by creating a list from your Rolling Donor Acquisition chart. You will never see new recurring donors.
