We have a large pledge entered with multiple soft-credit recipients who will be contributing variable portions of the pledge payments. We discovered the system calculates the soft-credit pledge balances based on the overall percentage of the primary pledge that has been paid, rather than tracking payments against each individual's soft-credit commitment amount.

Raiser's Edge recognizes that a portion of the total pledge has been paid and applies that same pay-down percentage across all associated soft credits. Because of this, the balance shown for each soft-credit recipient does not reflect payments made by that specific individual toward their intended portion of the commitment, therefore their individual, soft-credited pledge balance is incorrect.

We need a way to adjust the soft-credit pledge balances so that we can track individual payments against individual soft-credit commitments within a single shared pledge.
