My organization is admission by donation, therefore we can provide a full tax receipt for memberships. It saves a lot of administrative time if members can receive their tax receipts automatically when they buy a membership online, which is not currently possible with the new online Membership form. The workaround is using a donation form, but that means that memberships are not automatically added or renewed on the constituent's profile.
