There should be the option to change the default action category, as appropriate for each organisation. In our university fundraising situation, the vast majority of actions added day-to-day on NXT are emails sent and received. If you forget to tick the 'email' category when recording an action (very easy to do at busy times) your action will default to a 'meeting' - skewing very important stats if it's not spotted and corrected immediately. This can create a lot of unnecessary editing work going back to correct these - and that's IF they're spotted.
