I am so grateful for the addition of gift Adjustments in web view. There is a subset of gifts I am still unable to make adjustments on: individuals with changed constituencies.

One example: as a school, we use separate constituencies for alumni parents and current parents. In order to keep the constituency codes list manageable and ensure accuracy in our marketing lists on WV, when a parent's last child graduates we remove their "current parent" constituency.

Another example is when we use a generic constituency code and then learn more about a donor, we apply the appropriate code (think "general donor" or "friend of organization" that we discover is a new auxiliary member or grandparent.)

In each of these case, I receive an error code "The gift constituency '______' does not match one existing active constituency code for the gift's date." It would be absurd to keep every outdated constituency code with end dates when that has never been our standard procedures and we have multiple individuals who have been updating constituent codes for years.
