The issue isn’t whether the filter is available, but whether users can easily discover and understand it. If users have to know that a filter exists before they can add it, many will miss it entirely.

Making the Active/Inactive filter visible by default would provide an important visual prompt, allowing users to immediately understand that inactive records can be shown or hidden.

Why it matters: Good UX should guide users towards the right behaviour rather than relying on prior knowledge. Making this setting visible by default would help prevent confusion and make the functionality much easier to understand.
