We currently use the "automatically generate transactions/payments" function in Database view in batch. This is for constituents where we've set up a recurring gift on their record, but the payment side of it is handled by a third party platform (such as Just Giving, Enthuse, CAF or Stewardship). Once we have received notification that payments are received, we use "automatically generate transactions/payments" to create a gift record in batch, to then check and commit. We will need this functionality to continue in webview before Database view is switched off!
