Right now, you can only apply the whole gift amount to a pledge. We have some donors who send one check including payments for multiple funds. If we split the gift, we are not able to apply one of those split payments to a particular pledge. Instead, a separate gift must be created with all the same gift information (donor, gift date, check#, etc.) so that it can be applied to their pledge.
