So this is based of the blackbaud support case #021013700 that was opened for this issue. When a donor is prompted to donate to blackbaud to cover the fees, it should be shown in ALL of our records that that fee was charged to the clients. It's doesn't matter that the money doesn't come to us, its a matter that is was charged and we should received the information of it being tendered. In the event, the constituent record and the transaction record in merchant services, it states NO fees were charged. That is completely incorrect. We should be told when a fee is charged. Every single time. Regardless of it going to blackbaud or being received by The Council. This should be standard everywhere. We should be informed that our donors are donating to the fees. It is exceptionally concerning that it isn't already in place to show that.
