Adjust online donation form goal meters when gifts are refunded

Donors often accidentally input donations twice or ask for a refund. These changes to the gifts aren't reflected in the goal meter, and that causes incorrect narratives about fundraising to campaign participants.

    Thanks for your question, Samantha! I'm using the optimized form's goal meter for the immediacy aspect. I asked my team if they felt we could switch to the website component meter so I could attach it to a gift list, but because it requires gift approval, it wasn't a viable option for our case.

    Thanks for submitting this! Are you using Optimized Form's goal meter or the Website Component goal meter?

    With the Website component goal meter, you can choose to source the goal meter by the RENXT Gift List, which would reflect refunds. However, that does require gifts to be approved,which takes away some of the immediacy of the goal meter.
