Currently, Web View doesn't allow a gift to be entered for a campaign if the gift date falls outside the fiscal year. Database View has a pop-up warning that says "This gift falls outside the fiscal year. Do you still want to save this gift?" If you click yes, it lets you. In Web View, it just refuses to acknowledge that the gift is valid if the dates don't fit and doesn't allow it to be saved. Our largest donors often make commitments for two, three or even four years at a time. So we're entering pledges in one fiscal year that are for one or more future years as well. Right now, I have to go into Database View to enter these pledges, so before Database View goes away, we really need that same flexibility in Web View.
